Summer '12; sunscreen 101

Sunscreen, they are standing there on the shelves in thousand. You never know what to choose, well today we are gonna break it down in to 3 categories. You should re-apply sunscreen every 2 hours and after coming out of the pool/water. The best SPF you can have is 30 because higher are very minimal difference, they are just a money-racket.

( picture from here )

1. WATERPROOF
This is good for swimmers or very active persons.

2. OIL-FREE
This one is for people who have sensitve skin or just to apply on your face to prevent breakout (non-oil-free sunscreen can breakout your skin) .

3. EASY TO APPLY
This one is probably good for kids or for people on the go. They often come in a aerosol form.

RECOMMENDATIONS !!

waterproof sunscreen; Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 45
oil free sunscreen; Coppertone Oil Free Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
easy to apply sunscreen; Coppertone UltraGuard Sunscreen Continuous Spray SPF 30
